Call for Submissions:

Feminist Perspectives Through Art & Literature

We seek original contributions for a multimedia digital zine exploring feminist perspectives through creative works of art and literature.

The core theme is curating a collection that illuminates diverse viewpoints, identities, and experiences related to feminism. We want powerful works in various mediums that embrace feminism as both subject and creative inspiration.

We are looking for previously unpublished submissions in the following categories:

Written Works:

- Short fiction stories with feminist narratives/protagonists

- Poems expressing feminist themes like womanhood, oppression, empowerment

- Personal essays depicting experiences from a feminist lens

- Book/film/TV reviews with feminist critique and analysis

Visual Art:

- Illustrations, photography, digital artwork conveying feminist messages/symbols

- Multimedia works combining text and visuals

We also welcome interviews (text/audio/video) with feminist artists, writers, and creators reflecting on their work and perspectives.

Submission Guidelines:

- Written pieces must be submitted as Word documents (.doc or .docx). Name the file with Your

Name_Title.

- Visual art files must be high resolution at a minimum of 1080p quality.

- While works of all lengths are invited, written pieces should be under 2000 words.

The goal is to celebrate the power of art and literature in expressing feminist ideas and

narratives. We especially encourage intersectional feminist perspectives across gender, race, sexuality, disability, and other intersecting identities.

Submissions should avoid harmful stereotypes or oppressive viewpoints. Include a brief bio (2-3 sentences) along with your contribution(s).

This multimedia zine aims to platform underrepresented voices through a feminist creative space. We are accepting submissions until June 22.

There is currently no form of payment for submissions. As I am not currently making any money but due credit will be given to each contributor as well as a spot highlighting the contributors and their achievements.

The zine will not be sold but will be given freely. But if you have any suggestions about how we can make it profitable I'm open to suggestions. ❤️
